Physical Description: Standing at 5'6", Jacqueline is of average height. She has luscious blonde hair that hangs near her shoulders. She is slender, with rather long legs compared to the rest of her body. She has bright blue eyes that she usually accents with black mascara or eyeliner.

Personality: Jacqueline has a very mixed personality. She can be one of the nicest people in the world…but only if you're on her good side. If you do something to make her dislike you, it's wise to steer clear of her. She can hold a mean grudge, and is not above making peoples lives miserable if she so chooses. Not that she particularly enjoys being mean, she is just a firm believer in "forced Karma", as she calls it. In her defence, she has a very good sense of right and wrong, and only shows her dark side to those she truly believes deserve it. But to those who she believes are good people, she is a sweetheart. She is a very smart girl, who would much rather read a book in solidarity than pick a fight, but will do either without a second thought. Her extremely high level of intellect has led her to form very opinions on almost everything, and she doesn't care too much who she offends with her beliefs. That being said, Jacqueline loves to make friends. An odd combination, perhaps, but the result is two interesting extremes: she has devoted friends and fierce enemies. She is creative as well as bright, and has a passion for dance and painting. She speaks both English and French fluently.

Likes: Dance, painting, books, sunsets, flowers, freedom.

Dislikes: Being sheltered, rude kids, people who think they're better than everyone else, ignorance, getting her hair wet.

Gaston and Amelie were both born in France. Gaston was born into a pureblood magical family, while Amelie was born to two Squibs (a rare match). Because of this, Amelie was raised with full knowledge of the magical world, which caused her to have a difficult childhood. She often felt like an outsider in both worlds: she wasn't a normal Muggle child, but she couldn't do magic. She didn't fit in anywhere. Meeting Gaston helped her cope with her longing to belong, as he made her feel more welcome in the magical world. When Jacqueline was born, Amelie took great measures to shield her from the harsh realities of prejudices against those with Muggle blood. Amelie controlled every part of Jacqueline's life, out of love, it's true, but it caused Jacqueline to rebel against her later. To this day, Jacqueline hates anything that restricts her freedom.

Jacqueline was a very obedient child. She spoke only when spoken too, played only when told she could, and never put a toe out of line. As she grew, however, she became more and more wild, surprising her family. Her father and mother never agreed on how to raise her, as Gaston tried to encourage her wild side, while Amelie condemned it. These mixed messages confused young Jacqueline, and as a result, she grew to be a very emotional teenager.

Jacqueline showed her magic ability very early, which pleased both her parents, especially her mother. Amelie didn't want her daughter to experience the lonely childhood she had.

When her brother Sebastien was born, Jacqueline was not happy. She was used to being the center of attention. Luckily, as they both grew, they became very close, and now she watches over him very protectively.

Her parents often disagreed, and they're largest fight came when Jacqueline had to choose between the French school Beauxbatons, where her father attended, and Hogwarts. Gaston had his heart set on his daughter attending his former school, as he had immense pride for it. But Amelie wanted her to go to Hogwarts. She had the idea in her head that Hogwarts would be a place more accepting of a half-blood. Jacqueline wanted desperately to go to Beauxbatons, as she preferred speaking French. But in the end, Amelie got her way, and Jacqueline was off to Hogwarts.

Jacqueline has not had the best experience at Hogwarts, as it is a constant reminder of her mother's domineering ways. She immerses herself in school, and tries to forget that her life is under complete control by her overprotective mother.
